Our election coverage is designed to help voters understand who is seeking office, what candidates say, what official records show, and how information was verified—without endorsing candidates or selling editorial influence.
OUR ELECTION COVERAGE PRINCIPLES
CLEAR RULES. CONSISTENT TREATMENT. PUBLIC ACCOUNTABILITY.
These standards apply to Conveaux Media voter guides, candidate questionnaires, race pages, election reporting, corrections, and results coverage.

EQUAL ACCESS
Candidates in the same covered race receive substantially the same opportunity to participate.

OFFICIAL SOURCING
Qualification status, results, and official race information are sourced from appropriate public agencies whenever available.

NO ENDORSEMENTS
Conveaux voter guides and race pages do not endorse candidates.

EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE
Campaigns cannot purchase editorial election coverage or control Conveaux reporting decisions.

CORRECTIONS
Material factual errors are corrected when identified and verified.

TRANSPARENCY
Race pages identify sourcing, response status, and when information was last verified.
FULL ELECTION COVERAGE STANDARDS
THE RULES BEHIND THE REPORTING.
These standards are intended to create a consistent, transparent framework for election coverage across Conveaux Media.
01 / EQUAL ACCESS
Candidates in the same race receive the same opportunity to participate.
Candidates included in the same Conveaux questionnaire, voter guide, or race feature are provided substantially the same opportunity to participate. Participation does not guarantee favorable coverage, prominent placement, or endorsement.
02 / CANDIDATE RESPONSES
Candidate statements remain attributed to the candidate.
Questionnaire responses are presented as attributed statements from the candidates who submit them. Conveaux does not present those responses as independently verified facts unless additional reporting supports them.
Responses may be edited for formatting, obvious typographical errors, or length when necessary without changing the substance of the candidate’s answer. Candidates who do not respond by the published deadline receive a standardized no-response notice.
03 / NO ENDORSEMENTS
Voter guides and race pages do not endorse candidates.
Conveaux Media’s voter guides are designed to help readers compare candidates and understand races. Candidate inclusion, response publication, race-page placement, or editorial coverage should not be interpreted as an endorsement.
04 / OFFICIAL SOURCING
Official public records establish the baseline facts.
Qualification status, official results, race information, and other public election records are sourced from appropriate public agencies whenever available. Race pages identify the relevant source and the date information was last verified.
05 / EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE
Campaigns do not purchase editorial election coverage.
Candidates, campaigns, political committees, and their representatives do not purchase editorial election coverage or control Conveaux Media’s reporting decisions, questionnaire content, race selection, conclusions, or presentation of results.
06 / COMMERCIAL SEPARATION
Editorial decisions remain separate from paid promotional work.
Paid relationships do not determine whether a candidate, race, or issue receives editorial coverage. Election-related editorial work is kept separate from commercial services and promotional activity.
07 / CORRECTIONS
Material factual errors are corrected when verified.
When a material factual error is identified and verified, Conveaux Media will correct the affected coverage. Significant corrections should be reflected clearly on the relevant page when appropriate.
08 / TRANSPARENCY
Readers should be able to understand where information came from.
Where appropriate, Conveaux Media identifies sourcing, publication dates, verification dates, candidate response status, corrections, and material relationships or conflicts readers should understand when evaluating coverage.
